As a family business we take great pride in growing the trees ourselves and helping other families and individuals choose their Christmas tree. We encourage people to visit the Lucan shop to view our trees and enjoy a great experience when picking their tree.

Our Lucan shop will be open from Saturday November 29th 2025.NOTE: We will be opening at the later time of 1PM on the 29th November due to setting up! Hope to see you then. Regular Opening hours are: Monday-Friday 10:30am-6:30pm, Saturday 9am-6pm, Sunday 9am-5pm. We are looking forward to seeing both new and familiar faces.

Alternatively you can choose our delivery option from the comfort of home.

Our first delivery day will be Saturday November 29th 2025. Please select from our 8 delivery dates available in 2025. Delivery dates and locations can be viewed in the delivery section. Please note that you must book your delivery date at least 2 days in front of when you buy your tree to give us time to organise each delivery.

We also provide a collection service for our customers on 2 days in January. We collect your tree and chop it in to mulch that goes back into the soil.

Overall, we guarantee you a great quality, locally grown Christmas tree and service. We look forward to meeting you and help you make this Christmas a special one.

Environmentally friendly Christmas trees

Environment

Christmas trees absorb Carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere and release Oxygen (O2). Some studies have shown that 1 Christmas tree can release over 50kg of O2 in its lifetime. Christmas trees are grown in a nursery for 3 to 4 years and then transferred to another field where they are grown on average for 8 to 9 years. We replant the same number of trees as are harvested every year, so this cycle of removing CO2 and adding O2 to the atmosphere is continued.

Removing your Christmas tree in a responsible way after Christmas helps to further minimise CO2 emissions. Real Christmas trees are biodegradable and add positively to the Carbon Cycle when disposed of responsibly. We offer a Post Christmas Collection Service where the trees are collected and chopped into mulch that is returned to the soil as organic matter.

We minimise farm waste and recycle all plastic we use. We were one of the first Christmas tree sellers in Ireland or the UK to use biodegradable sisal wrapping, instead of plastic.

We grow crops like wheat, barley, and oats after an area of Christmas trees is harvested. This aids soil structure and fertility and helps minimise diseases in the soil.

We don’t mow our tram lines for long periods which helps insect populations such as bees to thrive.
